93 240sx runnin rough.

So i have an s13 hatch and it just recently started running pretty rough. i took it to a mechanic and just said that my motor mounts were basically gone. but i don't think that would effect how my exhaust sounds. cause its sounded pretty choppy. and its not picking up as fast. i put in a new fuel pump just before. then it started happening and now a week has past and i changed my fuel filter. About 3 months ago i put in new wires and NGK plugs. new distributer cap and rotor. sounds like my exhaust sputters or backfires almost.

My idle is a little lower and drops pretty low when coming to a stop in neutral. its only cut off once when coming to a stop this morning.

You might have a couple of different issues. The IACV cleaning tutorial cleared up the stalling in neutral problem for me. I would start there.The only time my engine "ran rough" it was a dead injector. You can easily check this by unplugging the injectors one at a time. If one doesn't make a difference when unplugged, that's the one that is dead. Good luck! Let us know what you find.
