93 240sx light problem

i drive a 1993 240sx, and everytime i hit the brakes my cluster lights up and so do my front turn signals, and when im driving at night with the lights on you can't even tell when i hit the brakes. I've checked all the fuses, but idk what else to check. Any help would be appreciated, Thnx.

Welcome--You have yourself one interesting problem. Download the FSM and find the schematic for the lighting system. Has your car been in a wreck? look down around your brake pedal. find the switch that activates your brake lights and follow it till you find your problem. the brake circuit is somehow crossed into your lighting circuit. look for t-taps/scotch locks, "Custom Stereo wiring", alarm's--people do some really amazing wiring jobs.
