When you go and change the injectors, can you tell me how to get the fuel rail off? When I took it off, I could only pull half the rail out?I know I have a bad injector causing the inconsistent misfires and stalling. It seems like the FPR is stuck onto the intake manifold or block. Can you please tell me how to get the fuel rail out?this is on a KA24DE 93 240sx.

you're the honda civic master dude.

there is a bolt holding it on on the intake manifold right below the fpr, its actually the bolt that holds that part of the intake manifold on. its a ***** adn you need to remove the diaphram for the egr that is right next to it i think its two 12mm on those, but i know the nut holding you back is a 12mm

im probably wrong.. but if your just changing the injectors.. i dont thing you have to remove the rail.. just the injectors..

once you unscrew the metal plates that hold the injectors on.. and there are little holes for a small screw drive on the base of the injector.. use those to carefully pry them out.. wiggling back and forth will help

Thanks man, yeah I kind of figured that, but when I looked, it didn't seem like that nut was part of anything. the nut under the intake manifold. Also the two fuel line that you have to disconnect, were a PITA, so i just left them in, the top one was not budging and the more i moved it, the more i was going to rip it.I'm going to do it today, and see what happens.Yes, I am a honda master, I can wire a k series in a eg, dc2 now.lol

that is the wrong way to change injectors, they are so fragile, if you did that, you'll end up breaking all or most of them, I was tempted to do it that way, but I let go.lol

I changed 2 without taking out the fual rail and I didn't break anything, and everything works fine now.
