I'm about to purchase a 93 240sx and I was wondering if E10 gasoline fuel blend would do harm to the KA24DE.

Welcome to NICO!

I wouldn't say that E10 will necessarily do harm to the KA, but it won't run optimally. Older cars weren't designed for it, and my limited knowledge says that is mainly due to the fact that E10 burns hotter than non-ethanol fuels, which accelerates wear and tear of seals and the like.

Perhaps someone with a greater knowledge base or experience with the matter can provide more help. Stick around!

Thanks for the reply! I'm concern about this because every gas station is selling gasoline ethanol blends. I've read about the problems with ethanol(corrosive, seal deterioration, fuel pump clogging) but I'm not sure if a low percentage as 10 would do that. I think in the long run a low blend as E10 could do harm but if that happens I would just replace things as they go bad. I would like to have some insight about this topic of ethanol fuel blends. Also I was wondering if there's enough space to fit a 6'1"/1.86meters man in the driver's seat?

Again thanks!

P.S. Sorry if there's any orthographic/grammatical mistake. English is not my native language.

Yes you can fit in a 240sx at 6 one and it also helps to get a set of S14 seats in an S13. Hats the only way I fit snug in mine at 6 six and at 285 !!!

I assumed I would fit in a stock driver's seat. That's good to know!
