Hi, I'm new here and i would like to hear what you guys think the problem is. i just went to go see a 1993 Nissan 240sx Hatch super hicas. When i turn the wheel fully to one side it make this knocking sound, if you put you hand on top of the shock tower, you can feel the shock jump out of place and then go back into place. it happens again when you turn the wheel back in the opposite direction. I'm thinking maybe broken shock or top plate? any ideas.

the second issue is when the car is rolling there is a wrrrrrrrrrrrrr sound coming from the rear end. if you accelerate the sound does not get louder, it just stays the same. the sound only stops once the car stops. Maybe a wheel baring, joint in the driveshaft or caliper sticking to the disk?

What do you guys think, any ideas would be great.i don't and cant get pictures because i have not bought the car yet. I just want to get an idea of what those issues could be

It could be a bad wheel hub bearing or your dif is going out. Try jacking the rear wheels up off the ground an see if the wheels wiggle around.
