So my car engine shakes during idle. Idle seems rough also. I'm thinking it is a injector problem, ground, or distributor timing is off. But yeah as idle the engine shakes and need proper guidance. But I did search and the culprit seems the injectors. I also just got the car for 1.6 grand 87k miles on it.

missing or misplaced vacuum line could also be the culprit

Do a wiggle test on the plugs at the injectors and the mafs. Report back any smoothed out idles and such.

Nope still shaking and the transmission is shaking with the engine also so when in idle the shifter shakes lol, my cousin auto tech teacher told him it might be a dead cylinder. I think it can be motor mounts but higher doubt it.

Well...with a MODIS from snap-on ... It showed me i was misfiring on cyclinder 2. Also ...with the MODIS I was able to Cut off fuel to each Cylinder and I showed out to be Injector number 2 was bad. Replaced it and BAAAAAAAAM ! Back to normal.

Doing a DROP TEST help also but pulling each individual spark plug wire out of the hole to see if any difference occurs. Narrow down your dead cylinder and work from there. Do a compression test also. Mine was 180 across, so i figured it had to be a spark/fuel issue and not engine related.

Hope this helps...any questions gimme a call.

probably running on 3 or less cylinders.

Pull the plugs and you'll be able to see really quick if it's fuel or ignition.

If one particular plug looks out of place you've found the cylinder with the problem. If it's completely black you're either not sparking or your injector is stuck open and/or the orings for the injector isn't seated right and it's dumping fuel.

If it's completely clean I would guess your injector is not working either due to the connection or from being clogged. Most injector failures are from clogging.

What about a broken motor mount?-Rik

^^^ That was my first guess but then my cousin auto tech said one cylinder might be dead and I searched that causes engine to shake at idle is a injector problem. Well I ordered a set of oem injectors from a Nissan site and o2 sensor.

In my s13 the brake booster line tends to pull off the valve that's held in the booster line bracket. Every couple of days i gotta push it back onto the valve or else my car gets the shakes.. eventually gonna replace the stupid hose....
