I have a covertible '93 240SX and my doors are not shutting completely. I keep getting them adjusted, but it is happeneing more and more frequently now and my battery keeps dying due to the dome light staying on. It's almost as if they are too heavy. Is there something I can do to fix this permanently?

not sure if it applies to the convertible too but i always keep my light set to the off position because of similiar problems with different vehicles in the past. food for thought

ya i do the same thing (with the dome light), but you cant turn off the floor lights (for what i know), but i did take out the button (that tells the lights to turn off) and put a shim (piece of cardboard) in there and the lights do turn off, but still looking for a permanent fix?the one i just bought was in an accident and the door and fender needed to be replaced and you can see that i doesn't shut all the way... what to do?

Is your chassis twisted a little bit and throwing off your door fitment?
