93 240SX auto trans sticks in first

93 240sx Conv. (75,000mi) with auto trans occansionally won't shift out of first. This happens maybe 30% of the time with the shifter in D. Just keeps reving up and will sometimes shift very hard at high RPM. Seems to shift from 1st to 2nd fine with shifter in 2nd. The other 70% of the time it works perfect, nice smooth shift from 1st to 2nd. Never any problem with any of the other gears. Tried trans flush and new fluid with no improvement. I want to sell the car and don't want to sell a transmission thats about to go t.ts up. Any ideas?
