93 240 wont start only if you pop start it

i have a 93 240 sx just a bout stock, when i got the car i could tell it had been stolen before so the ignition was a little loose but it still worked fine, sometimes it wouldnt crank when i turned the key then i would wiggle the loose ignition then it would start one day it just wouldnt start at all, i replaced the starter with no luck, all it does is click from a relay under the hood somebody please help!!!

check the ignition switch and the wiring leading to it. It sounds like they cut the start wire in the switch to hotwire the car and maybe the splice after the fact just fell apart.

Ive got a related problem. I'm getting the clicking when i turn my key. Is that a bad starter?

that's a bad battery, try switching the battery with a known good one. just one click then nothing or no click and free spinning is a bad starter.
