Just like to point out i have searched and found notthing guys, and i posted this on another fourm also. long time reader here and just now registered since i just now got my 1st 240 any help is apperciate.

OK heres the story guys me and my dad bought a 93 240sx for 600 bucks to fix it up and sell it, we had the ecu flashed and reprogramed and the lady that sold it to us said that the head gasket and the radiator were bad cuz it over heated on her. we check gasket and its good every thing was fine and drove her for about a week wit no problems, last night i m driving her and she starts over heating, when i put water in the tank it all leaked out the bottom...well i replaced the water pump and thermo (THERE WAS NO THERMO IN IT) and used the new gaskets and every thing. she ran great for about 2 hours before it started leaking out the radiator, i replaced the radiator and no leaks i start driving after about 15-20 she starts over heating! so i go back home and think. i figure i have changed every thing and still over heating. so i buy a new coolent temp sensor replace that AND STILL SHE OVER HEATS after about 15-20 mins of runing in the driveway.

theres no leaks new radiatortermocoolent temp sensor water pump

what could it be!!!!??!??!?!?!?!?!?!?! not only that todays saturday and i gota go to work monday for my 1st day on the job! and i have no car can any of you plezzzzzzzzz help or have any suggestions

Did you bleed the coolant system properly?

Remember, there is a bleeder bolt on the intake manifold where that big coolant line from the radiator passes through. You'll see it if you just follow that coolant line to the manifold.

Well i bought a new resorvor tank since mine had a hole in it and i bleeded the system useing the bleeder bolt and it worked! seems that the air in the system was the problem becuase i bleed it before the old skool way by just squeezing the uper hose. after i bleed it with the bolt it ran for an hour the started geting hot so i losened the bolt and more air came out after that it has been runin fine for about 3-4 hours now. thankz alot bro you really helped, now my car is done in time for school and work tomorro

Check your thermo install, the small hole goes to the top.Even, make that hole a little bit bigger, it helps to bleed more easy! Also, raise the front of the car as high as you can.Put the AC on heat, no need to turn it on.If still doing the same, remove the thermo an go to work, you can still troubleshooting on weekends
