93 240 missing sloppy idle

My car has like a dead miss under a load. And when idling. Seems to smooth out while reving engine in neutral. Got a code 34. Detonation sensor in mode 1 with engine off. Read on here that warm engine in mode 2, engine running at 2000 rpm for 2 minutes. Light should flash least 5 times in 10 sec to ck gas exhaust sensor. mine didnt flash at all. Any help greatly appreciated. Been searching, So frustrating. Thanks
