93 240 idles rough in cold...?

wen ever i start my car,,,it idles like @ 1500 and den later drops to 5-700 when the oil is @ midrange...anything i can do to make it idle smoothly in the winter time..?

The computer senses the engine is very cold when you first start it up and it in return raises the idle to heat up the parts faster and get it up to operating temperature. At least I assume this is true it makes sense, my car does the same (89 tho...:sleep). As for your fluctuating idle, you should probably just do a tune up change coolent, NGK plugs ONLY, etc. That should fix it probably. Good luck. Hey while we are helpin this guy out itd be awesome if we could solve my hard to start when outside temp is 40 degrees problem

oh i forget to mention, use sea foam it does wonders somtimes, unlike that stupid false advertising engine/fuel injector cleaning ****ing crap piece of **** *** **** that does nothing for nobody. Instructions here: http://www.nissaninfiniticlub....=2312 , have fun!
