I was doing the lit sleepy eyes on my 240 and when i was running the wire out of the relay box through the firewall it sparked because i didnt realize that was a constant hot wire. now the lights wont go down. they work but wont go up and down. I need to make them work again but i have no clue how to. any ideas? any help would be appreciated. i already tried to replace the relay that pluged into the box but that didnt work and i also checked all of the fuses i could find. one on the fuse box (left side kick panel) and the 2 fuses on the relay box (right side engine compartment)

more likely , it was a fuse, especially 16(light control fuse-5 amp). 17(day time light) and 18(tail lamp) also control lights.

Thanks i played around with those three relays and i got nothing. i did realize that when i hit my headlight up/down switch there is a clicking coming from the relay h/l down. i tried putting another one in there and still a click. i put my hand on the relay and felt it when i hit the button and its a real strong click. i dont know if that has anything to do with anthing but. any other ideas? thanks for your help

The clicking means the relay is getting power and the relay is working correctly and everything like the switch and timer is working. If you didnt blow a fuse something had to have been damaged. I would test the motors to see if they are fried.

supply them with 12volts. or test to see if 12 volts exist at the motor.
