93 240 acceleration problem

93 240sx 125000 miles, 5 speed fastback.

I noticed that this car doesnt like to get up faster on the higher revs....could the transmission be an inhibitor of power? its the only thing I could think of. Its got a good compression across, but I also have a SPEC Stage 2 clutch and a J30 LSD.... any ideas on how to make this car pick up faster?

you could change the diff gear ratio...

Well, another thing that comes to mind is that I always had this problem even before the LSD...

if its anything like my car, its just suffering from lack of a turbo charger. my car is just weaksauce in 5k+ just kindof how the KA24 does its thing, very slowly w/o breaking.

My KA Roars when I get her into the upper rpm's. Have you done a basic tune-up on her, including changing the fuel filter, new plugs, wires, clean the throttle body, mafs, seafoam, cleaned fuel injectors, Removed AIV, etc

transmission is probably the last thing it could be, i've seen some KAT's with their transmission getting up no problem!
