At the expense of being called a butt kisser, let me vouch for Joe-
They are also known as Infiniti of Scottsdale, so you are buying from a dealer. No worries on quality. All items have the infiniti warranty (just like you are getting buying parts from your local dealer.) HOWEVER, as with ANY place, you usually will not get a 'labor warranty' when you supply parts. This means that if the dealer installs the trans and it fails, Infiniti will replace the trans, but you will pay for the R&R. The dealer (or any shop for that matter) will only cover the entire cost if you buy the parts through them- and this is reasonable.
I've never heard of a factory remanned, which was carefully installed with a cooler and/or rad repalcement, failing in 12k miles. But Q45tech is the finaly arbitor on this factoid- I was willing to take the $600 risk (and passed the 12k warranty mark 120k ago, and again 30k ago!)
Back to Joe T and Scottsdale: I've used them extensively (and almost exclusively- sorry Joe) for years and have never been dissapointed. I did the transmission/core thing 18 months ago. Best bet is to set up return shipping for your core through them so you get their motor freight rate. If you drop it off at the motor freight depot, it will be one-quarter of the cost of a 'retail, come out and pick it up from my house' price.
As long as the core is together and is from a 90-92Q you'll get the core charge back- no extra credit for TLC...or leaving a good looking corpse
I did not replace my TCU and it has been fine, although I manually do 1st gear starts. Q45tech- is the replacement the same, or is it a 1st gear start functionality they are adding????
I bybassed the radiator/cooler and just added a B&M cooler, so there was no need to replace the radiator. (The TSB for replacing the radiator is becasue the radiator contains a section that acts as a transmission cooler- debris in the transmission cooler can cause a new trans to fail early, hence the TSB on replacement. Although now infiniti just requires they sell a can of flush and call it a day...right)
If a dealer is doing it, they should only be charging 'book time'- Infiniti publishes the hours required for that task, and that is what a dealer charges- no more, no less (usually). My recollection is 7.2 hours?

PS Ditto on the mount and rear main engine seal... should be no labor charge on installing these if you're nice about it. Maybe 15 minutes on the rear main if they are strict.
PPS Let Joe know you want the warranty- sometimes there are items that MUST be on the sales order to keep infiniti happy (fluids, etc)...
