Too bad I didn't when I first started this path. But I thought I had mundane problems that any shop could take care of. Honesty wasn't an issue. yet.

To wit: Both Q's started out just having an alternator problem. When I left my car(s) to have this done, each came back with a totally unrelated bigger problem, caused, I think, by mechanics unfamiliar with the Q. Or, they had not the patience to fix it carefully/correctly. Then, I let one Q run out of gas. Not good.

My wife wouldn't have wanted to hear that I "should have" taken the car 250 miles to Atlanta to get my alternator replaced a week before our Florida trip. $2,900 later (after the rail flush) she'll see it differently, now.

Hopefully, I won't have an accumulation of needed repairs again soon, but it I do, T3 will be an option. Thanks.

My order from Joe finally came yesterday and I installed the fuel Pmp.

My 92Q is back on the road and boy is she frisky again!! She is as fast and powerful as ever.

As many of you thought, I blew my FP when I let it run out of gas. The FP filter was very dark & dirty. I replaced the inline fuel filter and did the BG/Chevron, too, but no rail flush. At the reccomendation of two of you, I will do that (when I go to Florida next week).

NICO does it again. Thanks. Tomorrow: Fan blade and Clarion CD chgr.

Let me add that even a brief drop in at T-3 for diagnosis alone is worth the trip. If you are lucky (and prearrange it), you may meet Dennis and ride in his car to see how far away you are from G50 Nirvana.

After all, a properly running G50 is the king of the highway.
