On my 92, the speedometer panel push/twist button labeled A/B reset seems to have no function. I never see any thing at the digital text display. What should it do?

Also the backlight flickers, and occasionally comes on, but for the most part does not come on. Is there a known fix for a mostly non working backlight?

Thanks, Drake.

Yeah, dead lamps behind the trip meter are common...there are two behind it. There's a lighting guide with bulb types in the FAQ sticky, should help you there. The trip meter is actually also the car's status/diagnostics screen, so it's definitely nice to have working. It'll indicate low fuel, low washer fluid, and other conditions as well as showing show when doors are open, and is also used for transmission self-diagnostics.

Thanks MOD. I looked but did not see the lighting guide. If anyone can point me to it I'd appreciate it.

Thanks, Drake

Trip odometer bulb P/N is 24860-60U00. I don't think it's listed in the lighting guide.

Bulbs dying.I got no light in mine. It's not hard to take them out but just take the time if you've never done them.Use the FSM and remember how everything goes.Once it's off you can simple tilt the cluster or better just unplug it and remove the bulbs. It's nothing to hard.
