92Q Electric Seat Repair

I have searched the other posts but have yet to find anything that suits my needs. Hopefully you fella's can help with this one. My electric seats haven't worked for about a years now. Well ever since I took it to that crappy mechanic! What they are doing.... They will not move at all from using the buttons on the door but when I put the key in the ignition the seat moves about a 1/8 inch, not much. I went to junk yard and swapped out the door controls but that didnt seem to fix problem, coulda just been bad from the junk yard. Getting another this weekend. Is there a away to cross out the power prong and another prong to make the seat move at the door control. I think the connector has 8 prongs? Two of which are power. By the way, the door locks work. Or if anyone has any ideas my ears are open, thanks ya'll!

Does the Auto Driver Postioner show any codes?

Look in the service manual (1990-1993 ONLY!) to see how to perform the test.

Also may want to look at the wiring diagram for the layout and troubleshoot from there.

Is the electrical device fuse blown?

Were the seats removed from the car?
