I been driving the Q for awhile after replacing the injectors with the phase 2 injectors and it has been running good, but latley after the engine is warmed up it hesitates from 1500-2100 rpms and is struggling to go put if I press the gas pedal down the rpms go right up and it takes off it is like there is a flat spot in the tps. If I try to power brake it it will go up to 2000 rpms and stop, I can shut off the engine restart it and it will revv past 2000 and brake the tires loose. I put in a used air flow sensor the check engine light comes on but it is for a EGR temp sensor. Could it be a fuel pump control module? do the tps go bad?

Thanks Dana

People always blame the TPS for some reason, when it's hardly the cause of anything like this. If the trans shifts when it's supposed to the TPS is ok.

How is the fuel pump? Has that been replaced. Usually the fuel pump controllers are either good or bad, and even an intermittent one wouldnt cause your symptoms.

Before you proceed I'd make sure you have adequate fuel pressure by testing it with a gauge

Check your MAF sensor connection, very common problem. I recommend pulling the connector and using a small pair of needle-nose pliers, twist the blades on the MAF just a degree or two and reconnect.
