Hey guys, Im not new, but I joined when I had my old s13 and made 9 posts and havent got back on since, so I figured I would share my 'build thread' while looking for some parts for my vert. So, here goes.

So, I picked this vert up tuesday, pretty solid car, but its a 92 thats been daily driven, and as we all know, it needs work.

Plans for now.
-Clean up the interior some.
-Fix the top. (needs to be refitted)
-Get rear coils. <--done
-Get a new hood. <--done
-Ditch the broke hicas diff and get welded. <--done
-Get a type x front bumper. <--done
-Paint it.
-Wheels.
-Collect KA-T stuff. :naughty:

Heres a pic.
Image

The car only has the teins on the front. It had cut springs on the back thats been put back to stock, so im just going to ride it out drag style and get some new coilovers for the rear here in the next 2-3 weeks.

The I dug around in the car to fix the cd player, and found a viper alarm, so free goodies are always good. :downs After that on a last minute decision I picked up a fresh J30 diff with some fresh axles in means to get rid of the broke super Hike a** vlsd and to get new axles to fix what I thought was the popping noise.

Image

Sadly, I think the popping/knocking noise is a s*** transmission mount, but I havent inspected it much, but the axles were pretty fubar'd so it was nice to go ahead and put fresh ones in. So, another thing on the list is to inspect the transmission mount and possibly get a new one.

Next I picked up some rear BC coilovers to install to get rid of the 'drag' stance.

Image

Then tuesday I went and installed the diff and the coils. More like I took pics and got others to install it, HARRRRRRha.

Now that all this is done im going to try to figure out what the knocking noise is around the transmission, then get some type of a 180sx front bumper and then get a new, fresh paint job on the car, and collect other parts in the mean time.

Then I picked up some goodies.

Image

Then last week I picked up a new front bumper.

S'all for now folks!

Nice, I wish I did that much to my car today. All I did was gut my interior.

got a little creative today since I got tired of the back seat area looking s*** white. Found out my exhaust has been here for 2 days and the manager at my apt complex signed for it and has yet to tell/call me about it. good s***.

Image

Also put my exhaust on. Gotta love the days with great weather to get s*** done!
