allright i got an engine and transmission from jdmexchange picked them up friday they came together very nice tied it up nice on the back of the truck and on my way home to baltimore in memorial day traffic (im so stupid) one of the anchors holding the thing breaks and the whole thing slides forwards and smashes into the back of the cabin in the truck truck lurches about 5 feet forward and i go back for damage report it looks like the output shaft from the transmission was pushed in and fluid leeking everywhere so i get home and drop it off no prob i take off the rear cover that covers the parking lock and something else and the c clip that holds it in there is still there so what on earth happened and is it salvageable i dont know that much about transmissions in general just the general concept and i dont know if the shaft was supposed to be sticking out in the first place and if it isnt supposed to why was all that fluid leaking from there ok thats it i guess feel free to comment

fluid will leak from the ouput shaft if you tilt it the right (or wrong) direction... the shaft also sits flush with the tailshaft house..

It may or may not have hurt anything..... if you could take a pic that would probably be better.
