The Stanza runs great even after almost 20 years, (2) teen age boys and (3) females learning to drive standards.... up until now.

Starting at cold it runs fine. Just as the engine gets ready to go to closed loop operation it dies on idle. If you happen to be driving it will deaccelerate the car instead of accelerate when pressing the gas pedal. After it dies you can get it started but requires a lot of TLC, if allowed to cool down it'll start right back up.

I'm thinking either MAF or ignition control module. Thought's?

damn dats hella gay. well mine kinda does the same thing but when i put my a/c on its starts to shake hella bad and if i step on the gas and let it go the car turns off. i have to let go of the pedal hella slowly. but instead of wasting my time on the ka24 motor which i really dont like ima buy a sr20 and swap dat one in.
