92 Q45T transmission not shifting in d but will shift from 1 2 3 into d, now replacin

got a replacement transmission after is in how do you clear the codes?ordoes the auto ecu runs a test and adjust?whats next after transmission is in?

should I save some of the parts from previous transmission?

Hopefully, you replaced the rear main engine seal and turbine revolution sensor while it was out, and the 5rd motor mount when you reinstalled it. Of course you replced screen, O ring and pan gaskets and one time use bolts prior to exchanging the ATF.

Should be no codes.

changed necessary parts some sensors on the new transmission were different but installed them now working properly it feels even tighter than old one..thanks for quick replies...only had a couple of times the bad transmission on the dash but light went out.Im falling in love w/q45 again...LOL
