Code 55 means everything is ok IIRC...Ever cleaned the MAF? Do you hear a humming fuel pump in the trunk when driving? Any other symtoms? How many miles is high miles?

Get a tune up...And from the symtoms, I don't see how you can rule out a fuel related problem. If you waited too long to replace the fuel pump, then your problem could be the fuel pump control unit. Use the search button and type in "Stalling" and see what you come up with.

Ok....

How can we help with not much info?

I've been through hell and back with my Q with the SAME problem you're having. It was a combination of 3 things. 1. MAF 2. Fuel Pump 3. Fuel Pump Control UnitI replaced all 3. I'm more than happy to help just like anybody else here, but give us a story or something to go by. Like "I was driving and ---- - ---- happened. The conditions were cold, temp was at normal" etc. That kind of stuff helps big time. Hope I'm not offending you, just trying to give you tips on helping us help you

Loose battery cable probably means low voltage to the ecu and other systems when engine RPM is low. Low voltage causes lots of weird faults. No need to diss people trying to help. Loose the attitude please.

Well at least we know the newbie is appreciative of our help!!! The guys over at Club SI would love to hear this!!!

Maybe you should loook at the FPCU, when those go bad or are iffy they can cause bad things... Dennis said that his old FPCU causes and intermittant stalling..... Could be MAF too... MAF can cause stalling. first try cleaning it...

I say pull the MAF off and spray it down with brake cleaner (from about a foot away, don't get it too close), clean the connector pins, grease 'em with dialectic grease, put it back together and see what happens. It makes no good sense, but I know for a fact that a misbehaving MAF will cause exactly the symptoms you describe.
