This can be fixed by removing the half a** radio install and installing the OEM radio (Which by the way had no CD player in the radio but does control a CD changer in the trunk).

The clocks are also not fail proof so it may be bad.
But all of the above problems could be linked together somehow because of the wiring of the radio.
