Does anyone know where I can get an owner's manual for a '92 Q45?

I got an owners manual for my Q on ebay for like $20!

Welcome to the club. You've got a few options: A dealer, E-bay, Joe from everythinginfiniti(one the forums sponsors) and I have even some them on other infiniti parts web sites. Search past threads by using the red search buttom and "owners manuals" as your subject. Their has been much info in the past on how to find them. Nothing like a first generation Q.

Check "chain guides" as well under the search button.
