92 Q45 MAF will it work?

Hello: I am attempting to determine if an unknown year Q45 MAF sensor wiil work on a 92 DOHC motor. My nephew swaped out his 89 engine and automatic, and installed a 92 DOHC motor w/5 speed. He has the correct ECU and wiring harness for the engine compartment. Someone has kluged a Q45 MAF sensor on the loom. Will this sensor work with a stock 92 DOHC motor, ECU and witing harness? I have spent 15 hours undoing the rigging that was done. When tree lopers and a wood saw are used in an engine swap, you know there could be problems. It is looking good now, but I need to know if the Q45 MAF sensor will work. Thank you.

not without changing your ecu tune. get a maf off any ka24de powered nissan car from the same model year range, i got mine off an altima.
