Guys,

How hard is it to install a new piece of glass on a 92 and to change out the bulbs. My dad cheaped out and put tape on the headlight when he broke the glass, now it water leaked through and the headlight is inop.

I have ordered two new bulbs from Scotsdale (great call BTW, my first order will not be my last) and the glass. I'm NOT a skilled DIYer at all, I'm a spaz at best so I'd rather pay that get in over my head.

Thanks in advance, if it is pretty easy if anyone has any pics or tips they would be appreicated.

Take the plastic cover off that is over the top of the headlight assembly and it should be pretty elementary to disconnect the bulbs and unfasten the assembly. If you are stuck, you can quit anytime and take it to any body shop to complete the replacement.

I'll check it out this weekend, I just don't want to get in over my head. Anybody replaced the lens on this thing, I assume you have to remove the lens in order to do the bulbs?

No, the bulbs fit into the back of the headlight assembly(glass), so you can change the bulbs without removing the assembly. You really can't screw this up very much.

Did you order the entire assembly (reflector and glass?) or is the glass lens available separately? If it's just the glass, I don't know, but if it's the entire assembly it's pretty simple once you get into it. Let us know when you get your parts and we can answer questions better...

No, I just ordered the glass, that is all that is broken. I'm probably going to do this next weekend since it didn't show up this week and I'm out of town all week.
