92 Q45 Front Speaker Squeal. Help

Ok, it's driving me nuts. Some times they work sometimes they don't can't find loose connections. Anyone…are my speakers toast? Can they be repaired. Is it the speakers? Please shed some light on this for me.

I had a similiar problem with my 92Q. It is actually not the speaker, but the amplifier that is part of each speaker assembly. When mine finally went, you could smell the odor of burnt electronics in the cabin. Your options are to find a used speaker assembly or have yours repaired. I believe I have read on this forum that you can send them directly to Bose for repair. A higher value option would be to find one on Ebay.
