so got me a Q45a the other day and have been working out the issues but the one i can't figure out is the climate control module i know they have issues with the led burning out so i got a new one from the yard today and replaced the burnt out one and heres what happened...the new one worked for about a minute then the display went black and i turned the ignition off and turned it back on the screen came back but dimmer then went out again but would not come back at all. I am wondering why is there an underlying electrical issue or what checked all fuses non are blown? any idea what my Q is doing? Thanks!

Its very unlikely that your car is killing the HVAC (A/C and Heater) Control Unit. I find it more likely that the one you got was just as bad as the one that came with your car originally.

Luckily Q451990 (Heath) repairs them at a fair rate so he will come in here and respond soon.

Congratulations on finding a Q45a, is the Actsus (Active Suspension) light on?
Have the timing chains been converted to metal from the original plastic?
