I paid a visit to my old Q to drop off some extra keys and parts I found. I got rid of it last year after opting not to replace the injectors (one was dead, two were iffy), sold it to the service writer at T3. One of the techs at T3 is driving it now (forgot his name) and he had to replace all 8 injectors and a window regulator. He's installed new springs and 1st gen G35 sedan sport package wheels (but the tires are too small right now.... the dreaded "gap").

In retrospect it was smart for me to get rid of it... but glad to see it has a happy home.

08 G35 sedan is still doing well. The too-smart transmission which likes to downshift on its own can be annoying at times -- esp when I'm going down a hill in a 25 mph zone. There's still an odd rattling noise from the exhaust at high rpm upshifts from 1-2 & 2-3 -- which is supposedly a normal sound from the exhaust resonators (some people like the sound). But otherwise no complaints. Seats are wearing OK, goodyear RS-A tires have plenty of tread left after 17K miles, brake pads have over 60% left. Looking forward to putting summer tires on when the goodyear run out. May do a sway bar after that, but journey suspension is not much different than the sport suspension (same sway bars and springs, just different rear shocks).

Looks like he is taking care of it. The wheels do nothing for me on this car, I prefer the polished pie pans!

Nice to see that she went to a good home - and that you're happy with your G!

The old polished pie pans are sitting on a junker car, same color as my old Q. I got worried when I first dropped by.... I saw a grey Q with my exact old wheels and tires but the hood was ripped off, interior was trashed. I thought Dennis might have started to stealing stuff for his car.
