OK, guys, the mice have won again! Regardless of all the holes that I have screened, and rat poison put under the hood, the little b**t***s have managed to gain access to the hvac system and blower motor, in that, this am, after a couple of weeks sitting (all was OK then), I was taking the vehicle in for its winter Mobil 1 oil/filter change. Turned the a/c on, and immediately knew that there was something in the blower box other than air!

I had had this problem on several occassions with my Lexus LX which also sits outside, here in the NM mountains. Got pretty good at r/r'ing that blower, and cleaning out nests and lots of pinon nuts!

I will look at the Q FSM tonight, but, I was wondering if any of you experts knew of any short cuts (I hate working on car dashes!).

Thanks!

simple-pull glovebox and trim below it-about 6 bolts, and blower motor is visible and comes right out after removing 3 screws-15 min max to get to the little critters!

Thanks, pardner! I am the dumb**** who took glove box off last Sunday, looking for the in cabin air filter on my 92 Q, not finding any! So, glove box r&r should be piece of cake!
