So, here's where I start the deep delve into being an s13 owner again.

This was my first.

which then I painted

And then I sold.

I mosied around ignoring the car scene for a bit.

I picked up a Mitsubishi RVR, just to get back into a turbo car, as it has an Evo 3 4G63T and AWD. I got annoyed driving it around on the street for a bit, and decided i wanted another track car as well. So after some deliberation and sucking upto the missus, I have now purchased a new track only shell to start the build up on.

It's a '92 PS13 Silvia Qs that started life as a Auto SR DE. Over a few owners It ended up Turbo with a 2 way and manual, and few other bits.

I got it with no driveline in the guts, which is a good start.

Image

It pretty much looked like a big used tampon when I first picked it up. It was straight enough, which is what I wanted.

I took the complete interior apart, removed everything behind the dash and threw everything i didn't need/want out. It's a track car, who needs electric everything ?

Image

I then decided to move and removed everything in my doors, and rewire my power windows.

Image
And then put a small plate in the dash, and 2 monetary switches to drive the window, and put a couple of holes in an ally plate for some gauges.

Image

Got a seat sorted, and done the headliner for fun.

Next up I started rubbing the body back, and found someone who wanted the 180 front end ( thank f*** god ) and gone back to the good silvia look that should've been on it like it came out from the factory.

I played around with engine s*** and held off painting it at this time.

I had planned to go CA again, but just ended up biting the bullet and going an SR.

It had rings, metal head gasket and bearings put in in Japan at some stage, with a water pump too.

Image

I dropped some DE cams in. I found some s14 injectors, s14 DE throttle body and put them on. Also purchased a full genuine gasket kit, so everything is new gaskets.

Turbo is an S14 plain bush T28, which i modified the lines ( as people know s13 goes around the back ) which i didn't want. Also took apart the hicas steering pump, removed the veins, and put it back together. Using the bigger pump so later on i can run a cooler, i'll just put my spare hicas pump on.

Image

I also went on, and had done the coolant simplification kit. Instead of modding the stock lines, I had a mate fab up this little piece.

Image
Image

I went with an Exedy HD organic sprung centre plate, feels good enough for me, I'm not going over 300rwhp so it's a good setup.

Image

Then the day to put the motor in came.

Image

I'm running an S13 SR20DE box, with a nismo clutch slave, and the tee dampener removed in the middle.
Image

So motor in, wired up, turns over and runs.

Image

Currently runs stock ecu with afm, at about 8psi but next track day will keep winding it up.

Running an Apexi Hybrid cooler kit

Image

And just a full 3" with no cat and an Apexi Muffler at the rear.

Image

my fuel system setup is :

Image
Image

Aeroflow surge tank
044 external
32 gtr intank
all aeroflow fittings.
battery relocation
8g + relay for pumps to run off standard key.

Also relocated the battery to the rear.

And then decided to paint it.

Image
Image

Currently got a few pieces to put on later, 4 pot r32 gtst rotors, 550cc injectors, z32 afm, malpassi adjustable fuel reg, intake mani with top feed rail.

And 1 from the last track day.

Thanks man, after doing laps at the track in a mate 450rwhp R33, really wanted something else again.

Built this as a side project, pretty much owes me nothing from just doing little jobs on the side.

Got a few sets of just 17s for it as well for track, been doing sprints and last one was a drift practice day.

Only has Gab height and dampener coilovers installed, with camber adjustable plates on the front, and a rear strut brace.

I never thought I'd be driving an sr either. Had a CA lined up for it, but after thinking about how hard I pushed my other and the amount of Kms on most of them, this was already a better option.

This sr had previously made 380 at the wheels with a td06
