hey guys I have a question about a 92 vert I will be buying off my dad in the next couple months.. He has had it for about 4 years and dosnt really drive it. it just site in his driveway hasnt moved in about 2 years so Im going to grab it off of him. My question is, the top dosnt work It never did. I belive it is the motor but i never really got into it to look. Is this a common problem with them?? I have a feeling its going to be real hard to find the parts wich brings me to my second question, can the top be manually put down?

great site BTW!! I havent been around in years since I havent had a Z in a while.
Im sure that will change now haha

Thanks!!!

This is gonna be a tough question to get answered on here, as most of us own T tops, with a few slicktops. Not many verts on here at all, or anywhere, for that matter.

There has to be a fuse, or more likely a relay, somewhere for the top. That's where I would start. Cheap parts first. The motor is probably going to be stupid expensive. As far as manual operation, I haven't the slightest. I don't believe there is though, as the deck lid is motorized as well.
