92 maxima se transmission problem

92 Max with vg30de upon accelerating from 1st to 2nd (auto) the rpms jump up and down and the transmission selector switch lights flash. when i let off the accelerator and press again it will accelerate normal.

I don't know much about the auto trannies but I do know they're generally pretty weak, it could be dieing on you.

All signs point to the throttle position sensor -hopefully this works.
