Hey guess I have a '89 240sx with a KA24DE swap that was never finished, that motor came from a '92 auto 240sx.
Currently its just sitting in my bay with my standard transmission with all the wiring hooked up. That motor has a bad rod bearing. :frown: yeah I know. I would normally just pull the motor & fix it but I'm on a money budget right now. Ehh..

So I went to a junkyard and they had a '95 240sx :mike I'm pretty sure there's an issue with the motor because the 240 was not wrecked and the motor is alll there, it's not missing any parts, it has the wiring and ecu. I can get it for roughly $270 Good price?

My question was is there any major differences between the '92 & '95 KA's? I know the valve cover is different so it must be a slightly different head.

& what would I have to do as far as modifications go? The car was originally standard so no transmission problems.
Appreciate any help! :)

Search would answer everything quickly.

Basically to put a '95 into a S13 you would need to use the S13 intake and exhaust manis, S13 distributor setup, along with the S13 wiring/ecu/etc.

But $270 is high is that motor is bad.
