So i have a 92 ka24de stock and just started having problems starting. The car will crank but wont start and i have done a complete tune up on it cap/rotor, spark pulgs/wires, fuel filter, belts. when i try to start the car it will turn for ever and ever and very few times has it started to start but just sdudders and thats it. It did start once and drove it around the block and had spuddered and bogged from 1k to 2.5 but when it hit 3k it sounded and ran fine but go back to the house turned off and tried to start again and nothing. I know its getting spark and fuel. starting to think the coil is going bad or the injectors might be bad.

Someone help me out with this one..any advice will help at this point.

That's rough. Are there any check engine lights? You could start there.

From your description it sounds like you still don't REALLY know if it's spark or fuel. I'd try spraying some starting fluid in the throttle and see if it fires right up and runs fine for a few seconds before dying. That usually indicates a fuel problem. Have you tried disconnecting the MAF sensor to put the car in limp mode?

"sounds" like its flooding out? How does it drive? Have you tried resetting your ECU? Disconnecting the battery should reset your long term fuel trim (which is something the ECU would have been doing to counter the bad injector).

yah did that...well before i changed the injectors i took out the spark plugs and pools of gas on the top of the pistons. so i replaced the spark plugs and it ran good for a day then this morning it started doing the same s***...when i stop at a red light it idles at 1500-1600 rpms then ill shut it off and it wont fire again and when i try to restart it i can smell that f*** gas STRONG!

You should pull your oil dipstick and smell it. If you've contaminated your oil with fuel, definitely change it out like yesterday.

My car used to do that when I had a bad coolant temp sensor. The sensor thought it was -40 degrees out and inside the engine and was dumping TONS of fuel in there. I replaced it with a courtesyparts unit and haven't had the problem since. Check the connections for corrosion as well.

yah read the codes my ecu were putting out and it was the connection between the pulg and the CTS. It was corroded, cleaned em and now its running like a champ.
