92 ka24de high idle frustration

Hi all new member here! just picked up a 92 coupe! Did a few weeks of reading up on high idle issues but still haven't figured it out yet. pinched the hose going to the iacv and the car idled fine... pulled the iacv out and cleaned it up, i couldn't get the brass screw out though but i think i cleaned it up really well. still idles around 2k and climbs to 2500 steady idle. checked the tps and it was 2.75 ohms idle and 0 at wot? i read that it was supposed to be 2-10.

anyways trying to figure as much out as i can before i yank the mani off and check all the vacuum hoses etc. one last thing though, on the back of the motor near the iacv i think is the egr? it appears to have a cut off tube that is smashed closed and also on the other side of the motor on/near the exhaust manifold. many thanks in advance for the help, and great forum w/great people! i hope i can be the one helping with the solution some day lol!

ah crap after lookin at a bunch of pictures to help me with vacuum lines i just realized that the hose i pinched was going to the air regulator. it would be great to know if that would be a good start before i bought the part though. thank you very much!
