92 Code reader

have a 92 Q45 that I need to read codes off- have a AutoXRay reader but none of my 5 connecters seem to fit- where exactly is the connecter? fuse box inside lh side dash?Evidently the 92 is not OBD-II - so I need special connecter or different reader?thanks Andy

And you are correct 95 and below is OBD1.

The consult connnector is in the fuse box inside the cabin and you have a laptop and a cable http://www.blazt.biz/ Or http://www.e-mance.com/

Blazt is $159 with NICO discount

E-mance is $44 with NICO discount but you have to have a Serial to USB converter

Both consult cables are able to do more than just read codes just see the sites.
