I have tried to do some searching regarding some specific swap info.

I know I will have to modify a plug in order to get the top to go down, since there will no longer be a 'park'. I already am trying to gather up the hardware/assemblies for the transmission swap (pedals, m/t crossmember, lines, clutch master cylinder).

What I'm curious about is the whole wiring harness thing. If I purchase a CA18det motorset, will it come with the appropriate wiring harness (the lower im assuming), or will I need to source a wiring harness altogether?

The CA18 transmission: I haven't really read any information on this. Any flaws/issues with this?

Anything else I should consider while doing this? Im already planning on rebuilding the CA before she actually goes in.

This is more of a project for the upcoming winter

Thanks guys. Brandon

nothing wrong with the transmission, beside it being 20 years old. I wouldn't expect to put 400hp through one.

Wiring harness, just look up any ka>ca swap info. Its all the same.
