I am a new 32Z owner and I love my car. W/ a little t.l.c it will be the envy of all be holders.
But right now I have a minor issue. The car will not catch while starting.. it just cranks and cranks. I did some troubleshooting and got a weird result. It will start with the fuel filter removed, just an empty line (leftover fuel only) but not with it connected. The fuel pump and filter are both new and working great. Im thinking it has something to do with the air it is receiving while disconnected. Any suggestions?

Your best bet is to check for error codes, follow the instructions in this link:

It will be easier to diagnose once you know what codes the computer is throwing.

.... also its Z32 not 32Z :dblthumb:

Opps on the 32Z.. just typing too fast or dyslexia, either or. I actually figures it out.. the classic COOLANT TEMP SENSOR. Cleaned the sensor and everything is back to normal. I'm actually going to replace the sensor later today because its about time for a new one.

Yupp that will do it, mine was shot too and caused all kinds of starting issues. Good thing they're cheap!
