all z32 n/a's came with 16x7.5" wheels with a +45mm offset, all 4 wheels share the same diminsions although they are true directionals and the righs are different form the lefts in style only
the z32 tt's came with the same frotn wheels as the n/a but the rears were a 16x8.8" with a +35mm offset, they look nearly identical to their narrower counterparts and are also directional, but all 4 wheels on a tt are actually unique do to the directional patters on each side and the width difference front to back so on a tt you can not rotate your wheels
your 84turbo z31 came with a 15x6.5" with a +30mm offset, unless you got the AE model which came with 16x7" wheels wiht a +20mm offset
you must remember that offset is different from backspacing, offset references the distance from the mounting surface to the center line of the wheel, the backsopacing refers tot he distance form the mounting surface to the inside fo the wheel, offset is reletive, a 7" wheel with a +35 offet wil have a different backspacing than adn 8" wheel with the same +35 offset although it will have an additional half inch of backspacing due to the added width of the wheel, it's the offset that determines the load center of teh wheel, grated the change in backspacing might cause clearance issues but to maintian the correct centerline fo the wheel you need a +15mm spacer
so the 1 inch wider wheels with additional offset will increase the backspacing by more like 40mm but the offset change is still only 15mm, wiht that extra 10mm of spacer hurt your car, not likely, it will increase the scrub radius but only 10mm with isn't a lot
most people running z32 wheels on a z31 run 1" adapters (25mm) to push the wheel closer to the outside of the body for appearance reasons
