I got the car a couple months ago and it had been sitting for about 4 years. When I bought it I took out as much gas as I could and ran cleaners through for like 8 fill ups I think with premium gas. I changed the oil every 3 days until the oil looked perfect coming out. I replaced the spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor and fuel filter. The car was still running slightly rough and would start more quickly then it should sometimes so I picked up a redtop to replace the budget junkyard battery and replaced the ground wire. It ran better for a couple days and I stopped to grab some sushi and the car was having a super hard time starting and was bogging down really bad and struggling to idle without the gas pedal being pressed down so I nursed it home a couple miles and now it wont start at all without pressing the gas pedal down all the way and idles super rough at about 1100 rpm. I checked the fuses and looked at all the wires to see if I could see anything wrong everything is fine as far as I can tell I checked hoses and they looked fine and I don't hear a leak. The maf was cleaned it has a k&n filter and I disconnected the egr stuff. I can hear the fuel pump turn on when I turn the key and when it does start the exhaust smells like gas. I checked the oil and it doesnt seem to have and gas in it. I called some shops that are close to me and they want like 250-350 just to diagnose the problem and I would have to punch myself in the face if it was just something simple that I am missing. It is a 92 automatic hatchback with a ka24de and 119k miles. Any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks a bunch

Did you check your injectors? Also may be worth the money to diagnose if the engine had sat for that long. May be do for a rebuild. Gaskets tend. To wear over time
