when car is cold the reverse works fine but take a drive about 5-15 min and it wont go into reverse or some times it goes into reverse but with foot on brake and rpms at 1200 is the trans bad ? Dont know what to do please help???? 166000 ka24de 16 valve motor.

Start by checking the quality and level of the fluid in it.

Did that first and had a trans service done on it and still have the same prob.

Then you probably have a valve body problem in the trans. likely a sticking valve.

could be a blown seal on accumulator D as well.
