first off i did search for this, and i found nothing.

i have a 92 nissan 240sx.it has tein s type lowering springs.i'm running 245 45 16 tires on 8 inch wide wheels in the rear.when i hit a small bump in the road, i get very aggressive rear end "float" it's kind of like when the tires break loose when you shift a gear. how the back end of the car shifts to the right or left.it does this even over very small bumps.i hope that makes sense.i am running stock struts in the rear, and the car has stock subframe bushings.is that my problem? it's almost to the point of scary when i drive the car now.thanks for any input guys.

Definitely replace your rear shocks. Once i had a rear right AGX blow on me (it had a scratched piston from installation) and i would get mad wheel-hop in tight turns. Right now my rear shocks are fine but in 1st or 2nd gear if i hit a bump or any imperfection in the road i get the same issue. It can be kind of embarassing since it makes the car sound like its bucking.

Subframe bushings are probably shot too. I'm planning on getting spacers myself, but i'm a little worried if they would be too stiff.
