92' 240sx questions

ok before i start getting flamed or w.e. i searched for the past hour and a half with no results. as previously stated i have a 92 240sx im not sure wheather its an SE or base, my VIN decoder by NAPA at work says its a base. i have power windows, sunroof, se 7 spokes, cruise control, and its a 5 spd. the car was in a wreck previous to me owning it so it couldve had an se hatch etc, like i said not sure tho.

i have two questions...

1my locks seem to be auto locks but they dont work. if i unhook my battery with the doors unlocked and hook it back up, the doors automatically lock. if theyre unlocked and i lock it from the outside it only locks that one door, not the other? so im confused, do i have auto locks? or just weird accuators?

2i have a little red LED light on my drivers A pillar, the ones that usually mean you have an alarm?i followed the wires to a small plug that goes near the kickpanel but doesnt connect anything...

so does this mean that my car also had auto locks and an alarm? or am i just crazy?

Aftermarket alarm was previously installed and is f***ing with your s***.

the led looks stock tho, right in the a pillar unless someone has very neat work....
