92, 240sx loses ALL power when I take key out of ignition

Okay, My car starts everytime, but when I turn it off, it kills the car. The clocks reset, the belts don't retract, nothing works. But when I put the key in. Everything is cool. I checked cables, battery alt. What could it be.

Sound like your ignition switch is bad. Try replacing the switch on the back side of your lock cylinder. Ciao

nope ignition switch is good it even has power to it. But I can't figure out why the car is dead. I'm pulling power from the battery in the fuse box as well....
