I mixed up a vacuum line which came from the right of the throttle body with a water hose that went on the side of the throttle body.
I checked the ECU and nothing came up.
I messed around with it a bit more today, replaced the spark plugs since they were dead from the water damage. I started it back up but it wouldn't start by itself, I had to use starting fluid.
I had to hold the damn throttle to the floor to keep is running, exhaust was clean, It sounded like the pistons were hitting the valves.
This doesn't make any sense to me though because that would mean I'd have to adjust the timing if they were hitting, right? The timing was fine before it sucked in the water?
I'm so confused and the only thing I can think of is that I killed my motor.
