I have a "relay" box or something that comes off the positive side of my battery. I was wondering if anyone knew what that is for? It was all corroded and i took it off. but i was wondering if it was anything important.

Thanks!

The plastic red thing:

I think that is just a connector.

So that shouldn't cause the car not to start right?

ah. would that cause problems like your car not firing? My car does turn and try to crank but it just wont fire, and i was wondering if that might be the reason.

Thanks!

The white wire is connected to the output of the alternator. No connection = no charging of the battery.

Plug it back in. Then get a jump start.
