92 240sx coupe build (maybe KA24der)

Well this is my first post on here or any forum and im new to making build threads but i have read a lot of them so ill do my best.
And also this is my friends 240sx. Im just helping him work on it till i go off to college.

My friend bought his first 240sx about three weeks ago for $700. The only major thing is the rod knock so he plans on getting another ka24de and building it up. It also has tipical paint damage, cracked dash, and bad carpet and some other things i cant think of as of now. We have taken the seats and all the pilars so he can redo them. Ill post pictures tomorrow. I just hope we get it running and kinda decent to take to Import Allance in July which should be interesting.

took out the cluster, seats, and center consle






now we are painting the panels in the car like the doors and stuff

Well today we painted more interior panels black and the part the goes around the cluster red. It looks so sweet.









And he also change the cluster lights with red leds but there not that bright

thats cool and all but me personaly, i would be worried more about that rod knock before i worried about painting the interior. thats just me though

This isnt my car im helping him work on it or else inwould be doing the same but he is more of a "i care about looks more" type of guy so i dont argue

I just made my account today, I'm the owner of this build and what my friend failed to mention was I'm not worried about the rod knock because I'm looking for a different engine.
